Halle. 26 November 2015.

Professor Crister S. Garrett spoke at the University of Halle institution “Law After Lunch” hosted by Professor Christian Tietje of the Law Faculty.

With some forty students, staff, and faculty, Professor Garrett explored how a variety of longer-term trends in American and German society have shaped citizens attitudes toward concepts of free markets and free trade.

TTIP represents the latest chapter in German, European, and American efforts to build a transatlantic economy that can support the creation of work and well-being for around 850 million people.

Professor Garrett’s talk was recorded and can be watched at the Halle Law Faculty’s YouTube Channel.
