The Atlantische Initiative, a Berlin-based NGO dedicated to promoting collaboration between US and European citizens, is currently offering fellowships to 30 applicants to take part in their Atlantic Expedition to Chicago, IL and Houston, TX in October 2017.
The fellowship is open for US and German citizens between 20 and 35 years of age. Applicants need only submit a short article (max. 1000 words), a one-page CV and a very brief statement of motivation. The application deadline is June 18, 2017.
30 fellows will be selected to network, debate and collaborate with their peers and political decision-makers, opinion-leaders and stakeholders from a variety of business sectors and interest groups in Chicago and Houston. The fellows will co-author an Atlantic Action Plan, drawing upon their diverse range of skills, interests and experiences. The 15 best fellows will be invited to present the Action Plan during a five-day basecamp in Berlin in spring 2018.
You can find more information, as well as the application, on the homepage of the Atlantic Expedition.
