To celebrate the 50th anniversary of NASA‘s Apollo missions to the moon, Dr. Muir-Harmony, curator at the Space History Department at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, will present her book Apollo to the Moon: A History in 50 Objects, in which she uses 50 key artifacts from the Smithsonian archives to tell the story of the groundbreaking space exploration program.

The event will be moderated by Geertje Huendorf, program specialist at the U.S. Embassy Berlin.

The event is free and open to the public.
